Nerd Book: 2020 Sunday Bag Goals

The nerd in me just couldn’t help but put a little Sunday bag presentation out there. Social Media is such a great format to learn about new and different companies in the golf industry.

2020sundaybaggoalsWhat do most of these companies have in common? CUSTOMIZATION! That’s right your ability to get customization is premium with these companies, giving you the ability to have a set that is absolutely one of a kind.

Personally I have never owned or played with anything from these companies. That is why the title of this post is GOAL. I would like to have a Sunday bag set with this setup. That’s when you would see a review on the equipment. The reviews I have seen for all of these companies have been awesome.

GEOM: While there are plenty of amazing custom putter companies out there. All you have to do is to get into the crazy world of social media and you will find plenty of the companies. What I find unique about GEOM is the story behind it. They took a geometrical design and are working it into their putter designs. They have a different look and you can work with them to make your putter, yours.

MACKENZIE: They don’t need me mentioning them one bit. This is the original modern leather or canvas walking bag company. The ability to customize your own bag is what intrigues me so much with them. I love having the ability to customize things. The product from review is highly rated, there are many others out there who have copied what they are doing because of its success. The leather Original Walker is central to my layout here as it was the inspiration for everything else.

NATIONAL CUSTOM: Like everyone else I heard about this company first when Jason Dufner started playing them. And yet again the uniqueness and the customization that can be done here is what intrigues me so much. Plus being an absolute sucker when it comes to great looking blades makes this an easy choice for me. A set of these starting at a 27 degree iron and going to a 60 degree wedge would be perfect. Oh and that is how I would want them to stamp them on the toe by degree and not the standard number system.

REINLAND: These guys are known for being artistic  and I love that. The other thing I like is that they are making some really neat looking gear, not just the head covers. While you have the ability to customize with them on somethings I really like a lot of their stock items and they fit amazingly well with this set. It only makes sense to utilize them in this setup.

SUB 70 GOLF: I just ran across these guys the other day while putting this together. While there is not quite the customization that you see with the other companies, they are still very unique. Besides the fact that they are only about 5 hours away from me, their overall look is what intrigues me the most about them. The woods look amazing, and being an iron junky, I have to say that their 699 irons are pretty sweet looking.

There are so many companies out there, especially on social media to learn about and to get behind. I am still a Mizuno guy and that will never change; however, I like to share my affinity for new stuff and cool gear. Hope to add to my collection by 2020!
